EDNY BORDERLESS PROJECTION MASTERPIECE
Discover how Event Designs New York and Stretch Shapes transformed projection mapping into a stunning visual masterpiece.
When Event Designs New York (EDNY) needed a large surface for specialized projection mapping for the ANA Multicultural Excellence Awards, they decided to work with Stretch Shapes. They acquired a custom-built 48′ x 24′ rectangular Borderless Projection Screen.
The rectangular screen frame was first built, and then the fabric was installed. Next, the screen was hung from a top line of trussing using our truss clamp mounting system. Once hung, it was brilliantly masked in black along the top to give the shape of tall cubelike buildings.
The illusion was then brought to life with projection mapping, which gave the forms shape and movement. The end result was a new form of dimensional stage shaping that truly performed and sparked the imagination.
Our hats go off to EDNY for pushing the boundaries of what can be done with Stretch Shapes products.
