OUR JOURNEY
Stretch Shapes was born from a passion for environments. From building makeshift discos as a child in his parent’s basement to attending college for set design and construction, our founder, Niko Mantele, has always had an eye for event spaces. After leaving school, Mantele moved to Portland to expand on the success he had found planning local raves. His events regularly attracted crowds of 4,000-5,000, fueling his interest in crafting unique event spaces.
From there, Mantele began his own event decorating company, where he gained recognition for his event spaces and incorporated stretch fabrics into the designs. As the company grew and gained a larger following around the Portland area, it evolved into Stretch Shapes. Today, Stretch Shapes has designed spaces for various events across the country. We are the nation’s #1 provider of solutions from fabrics that stretch.
