Scottsdale Fashion Square Custom Arches

Scottsdale Fashion Square is Arizona’s one-stop shop for luxury shopping, dining, and entertainment. The square hosts exclusive events and unparalleled guest amenities, and features prestigious stores such as Louis Vuitton, Cartier, and Gucci.

The new Bubly water brand wanted to make a fashion splash and what better way than an event at the Scottsdale Fashion Square. Needing an event expert, Bubly water hired Encore Creative to help execute Bubly’s branded vision. As Bubly and Encore Creative planned the event, they decided to design and fabricate an infinity stage that would be the focal point of the fashion show. With a concept and fabrication locked down, the next step was to cover the arches with fabric. With a creative idea in mind, Encore turned to Stretch Shapes for their fabric needs.

Encore wanted to cover the arched truss structure in fabric that didn’t bunch and alternated black and white on each side of the truss. To achieve this, the fabric was custom cut to match the curve of the arch. This cut-in technique provided a wrinkle-free and bunched-free surface. For easy installation, a proprietary IFR (Inherently Flame Retardant) stretch fabric was used, making the covers easy to pull over the truss while maintaining their placement and yielding a wrinkle-free environment.

The event was a success: Encore was happy, as was their client Bubly. To read more about Encore’s experience, read the excerpt below.
