Save Money with these tips and tricks with Pull Over Truss Covers from Stretch Shapes™
We want to make sure that our clients are getting the best support possible, which is why we’re posting this article on tips and tricks to save money and time in the department of Pull Over Truss Covers.
1) Turn a 10′ Pull Over Box Truss Cover into an 8′ or a 5′ Box Truss Cover
It is simple, just roll up the fabric at the bottom of the truss. Here we show exactly how to do so to maintain the look of a standard truss cover. You don’t want bunching to occur so be careful to keep it even. You just need two people to tightly roll the fabric in a consistent fashion at the bottom of the truss and then pull it all the way down to the floor.
2) You can also create interest with scrunching. By scrunching the fabric down you can create texture, especially when the truss is lit with LED lights. Generally we recommend buying a cover twice as long, which works perfectly if you have a 5′ truss to cover, scrunch your 10′ Truss Cover down. You can achieve a similar result if you have an 8′ truss, by scrunching down the 10′ by two feet.
3) Buy a Roll
We sell Pull Over Truss Covers by the 50′, 100′, 150′, and 300′ cuttable roll. Our fabric is designed to not fray or run making it easy to cut without worrying about hemming. Have multiple sizes of truss at your event? Cut to whatever sizes you need.
We hope these tips and tricks are helpful for your current and future events. Stretch Shapes™ is always looking for ways to help you stay flexible with your clients while expediting load in times and getting the biggest bang for your buck.
